What is the three stage plan?

Stage 1

To obtain 10,000 signatures in support of the petition in order to secure adoption by the local Council.

Stage 2

To hand the petition into the Planning Officer at County Hall in order to secure approval by the Mayor of London.

Stage 3

To widen the basis of support, securing the signatures of other local authorities, Members of Parliament and other elected officials, enabling the Richmond Declaration to be placed on the national agenda.  The intention is not only to persuade central Government to change their approach to planning but also to provide a model for common sense planning.
